Where is the Runway watermark?

Runway adds its watermark to every video generated on the Free plan; paid plans export without it. The tool pre-selects the bottom-right corner. If the logo sits elsewhere in your clip, paint over that spot instead.

What this tool does, and what it doesn’t

It removes the visible Runway mark from content you generated yourself, for example to use a clip in a presentation, a thumbnail or an edit. It does not touch invisible provenance signals, and it is not for stock photos or anyone else’s copyrighted work. If you publish AI-generated media, label it as AI-generated where your platform or local law requires it.

Frequently asked questions

Does Runway let me remove the watermark itself?

Only by generating on a paid plan, which exports without the watermark. Clips you already made on the Free plan keep it, and that is what this tool is for.

Is the video quality kept?

The clip is re-encoded at a high bitrate with the original frame size and frame rate, and only the selected area is rebuilt. The audio is copied unchanged.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Processing runs on your own device inside the browser tab. Your image or video is never sent to our servers, and closing the tab discards it.
