How to remove the Veo watermark

Where is the Veo watermark?

Veo videos made in the Gemini app show the Gemini sparkle near the bottom-right corner. Automatic mode finds it on the first clear frames and removes it from every frame. If your video has a different mark, use "Select area" mode.

What this tool does, and what it doesn’t

It removes the visible Veo mark from content you generated yourself, for example to use a clip in a presentation, a thumbnail or an edit. It does not touch invisible provenance signals, and it is not for stock photos or anyone else’s copyrighted work. If you publish AI-generated media, label it as AI-generated where your platform or local law requires it.

Frequently asked questions

Is the audio kept?

Yes. The audio track is copied into the new MP4 unchanged. Only the video frames are re-encoded.

How long does it take?

It depends on your device. A short 1080p clip usually takes about as long as the clip itself, or less, on a recent laptop or phone.

Does this remove SynthID or other invisible watermarks?

No, and it is not designed to. The tool only cleans up the visible logo. SynthID lives in the pixels and stays in place, and for images the file’s C2PA content credentials are copied into the cleaned file, so it can still be identified as AI-generated. Cleaned videos are re-encoded and don’t carry over the original file’s metadata yet.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Processing runs on your own device inside the browser tab. Your image or video is never sent to our servers, and closing the tab discards it.
