How to Remove the Gemini Watermark on iPhone and Android
Last updated 2026-10-21
You don’t need a computer or an app. Our Gemini watermark remover runs in your phone’s browser, and the image or video is processed on the phone itself without being uploaded. The only thing to get right is using the original file.
Step 1: Save the original from the Gemini app
Open the image in the Gemini app and tap the download icon. On iPhone it is saved to Photos, on Android to your Downloads or Gallery. Don’t take a screenshot: a screenshot is a resized copy, and the sparkle in it no longer matches the original pattern.
Step 2: Open the remover in your browser
Open watermark-removal.com/gemini-watermark-remover in Safari or Chrome and tap Choose a file.
- iPhone: pick the image from Photo Library. If the sparkle isn’t found, save the image to the Files app first (Share → Save to Files), tap Choose a file again and this time pick Choose Files to select it from Files. This hands over the untouched file instead of a converted copy.
- Android: pick it from Files or Downloads rather than a messaging app’s folder, which often keeps a compressed copy.
Step 3: Remove and save
The sparkle is detected automatically. Tick the consent box, tap remove, check the result with the slider and tap download. On iPhone, Safari puts the file in Downloads in the Files app; from there you can share it or save it to Photos.
Veo videos on a phone
Video works on recent iPhones and Android phones as well, as long as the browser is up to date. Processing a clip takes longer than on a laptop and uses more battery, so keep the screen on until it finishes. The MP4 you get back keeps the original audio. For long clips, a computer is faster. See how to remove the Veo watermark.
Several images at once
Select multiple images in the file picker and they are cleaned one after another, then offered as a single ZIP download.
Want to skip this next time?
Gemini’s Media watermark setting stops the sparkle being added to new images. Here is how to turn off the Gemini watermark; the setting is saved to your Google account, so it covers the phone app too.
Still seeing the sparkle?
It is almost always a resized or re-compressed copy. The troubleshooting guide lists the fixes, and the full step-by-step guide covers the desktop version.
